ytd

Cut the part you want. Keep it on your phone.

Paste a YouTube link, choose where your clip starts and ends, then save it as an MP4 video or MP3 audio. Free, no sign-up, no watermark.

How it works

  1. Copy the link. In the YouTube app, tap Share, then Copy link.
  2. Pick the part. Drag the two red handles, or play the video and tap Set to player time.
  3. Save it. On iPhone, choose Save Video to put it in Photos. On Android, it goes to your Downloads.
Where does the clip go on my iPhone?

Tap Save to Photos, then Save Video in the menu. The clip appears in the Photos app. MP3 audio goes to the Files app instead.

Where does it go on Android?

The clip downloads to your Download folder. Videos there usually also show in your Gallery or Google Photos. Use Share to send it straight to WhatsApp, Instagram or any other app.

How long can a clip be?

Up to 10 minutes, in quality up to 1080p. Shorter clips are ready faster.

Can I put ytd on my home screen?

Yes. On iPhone, open this site in Safari, tap the Share button, then Add to Home Screen. On Android, tap Install app at the top, or use Chrome’s menu. After that, on Android you can share a video from the YouTube app straight into ytd.

How long are clips kept?

24 hours. After that, the file and its share link are deleted. Save it to your phone if you want to keep it.
